Position Purpose:

  • Perform quality inspections on maintenance activities executed by other artisans and maximize the availability/reliability of plant and equipment.

  • Conduct quality checks on overhauled/ repaired components internally or by external Service Providers.
  • Supervise artisans (apprentices), trainee technicians, and engineers in training.
  • Provide feedback on defect repairs including root cause analysis.

Position Outputs:

  • Perform advanced breakdown repairs and root cause analysis.
  • Execute administrative duties and ensure proper capture of breakdowns on SAP maintenance module.
  • Carry out advanced and specialized maintenance services and repairs.

Position Purpose:

Position Purpose:

Position Outputs:

Provide legal advice to the organization, focusing on revenue and procurement contracts. This includes:

  • Advising on contracts, contracting arrangements, and procurement, including commercial law.
  • Providing legal advice on tender processes, tender documentation, and probity arrangements.
  • Assisting in managing Competition Act compliance framework programs.
  • Establishing, managing, and maintaining a legal opinion database.
  • Keeping up to date in areas of law relevant to the activities and functions of Transnet Group Commercial.

Key tasks:

  • Providing specialist legal advice and assistance in relation to contracts, contracting arrangements, and documentation.
