  • Administration of activities of research support towards the development of an integrated strategy on the fourth industrial revolution (4IR).
  • Coordinating and administering the establishment of partnerships.

Location: Midrand Head Office

Purpose:
To provide human resource administrative support to the business unit to ensure the effective and efficient running of the unit and to assist in providing key support to the MICT SETA in the execution of the overall strategy.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric plus Three (3) Year National Diploma (NQF 6) in Human Resources or Human Resource Development or equivalent.
  • Minimum three (3) years’ HR administration experience.
  • SETA environment would be an advantage.
  • SAGE System would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Labour Relations Act and Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Skills Development Act.
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
  • Flexibility in working hours will be required to meet demands of the role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Selection Administration:

  • Assist with the screening of shortlist applications.
  • Prepare interview packs and coordinate psychometric assessments.
  • Coordinate advertising of vacant positions and manage recruitment process.
  • Assist with onboarding of new employees.
  • Manage access control to HR-related records.
  • Maintain filing system for all personnel information.

General Administration:

  • Coordinate administrative duties in the business unit.
  • Develop, maintain, and update the business unit’s annual meetings planner.
  • Coordinate meetings and preparation of materials.
  • Assist with compiling reports for the business unit.

Training and Development Administration:

  • Gather and capture documentation for training plans and reports.
  • Coordinate relevant training and development committee meetings.
  • Assist with updating process flows, forms, and policies.
  • Coordinate and administer bursaries.

Remuneration and Benefits Administration:

  • Assist with onboarding of new employees in provident fund, medical aid, and salary structure.
  • Update and maintain changes in Remuneration and Benefits on the ERP system.
  • Verify and collate payroll inputs received from divisions.
  • Process leave requests and resolve leave queries.

Risk and Compliance:

  • Assist with the submission of mandatory reports and information.
  • Prepare reports and compile department’s monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant laws, policies, and procedures.

Client and Stakeholder Services:

  • Respond promptly to customer requests.
  • Receive clients, stakeholders, and guests on behalf of the department.
  • Arrange functions on behalf of the department.
