The Department of Water and Sanitation is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following vacancies:

Kenneth Ezeh

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Civil Engineering degree (B Eng / BSc)
  • Six (6) years post-qualification civil engineering experience
  • Compulsory registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer

  • Monitor refurbishment projects of bulk water infrastructures
  • Manage administrative, financial, and personnel matters
  • Conduct field inspections on implementing projects
  • Ensure compliance with water sector norms and standards

  • Science degree (BSc) (Hon) in Natural Science or relevant qualification
  • Three (3) years post-qualification natural scientific experience
  • Compulsory registration with SACNASP as a Professional Natural Scientist

  • Sound knowledge of integrated water resource management and water resource protection
  • Knowledge of water sector legislations and policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work abnormal hours and travel countrywide

DUTIES:

  • Provide scientific and technical advice on water use regulations
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement relationships
  • Develop, implement, and review regulatory tools for water use
