About the Position:
The Deputy Director: ICT Infrastructure Service will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing staff and overall operations to ensure the stable operation of CUT’s ICT infrastructure. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications, and telecommunications systems. The Infrastructure Manager will also schedule and direct activities to resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion.
About the Appointment:
- Nature: Permanent Support
- Minimum Salary Scale: R 1,120,394 per annum
What Are We Looking For?
Minimum Qualification/ Knowledge and/or Experience:
- Relevant Diploma
- 7 years relevant experience, with at least 5 years in managing ICT Network Infrastructure or ICT Enterprise systems
- Evidence of knowledge of Infrastructure design & operational excellence
Desired Qualification, Knowledge and/or Experience:
- Relevant Degree/BTech
- 3 years successful leadership of an infrastructure team
- 10 years related experience, with at least 8 years in managing ICT infrastructure services
