Part-Time Dental Assistant

  • Contract Type: Part-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the dental assisting clinic
  • Perform general administrative duties and medical scheme billing
  • Conduct stocktaking and liaise with dental suppliers
  • Assist with chairside and clinical duties including sterilization and infection control
  • Support students during dental assisting practical sessions
  • Maintain patient confidentiality according to POPIA
  • Ensure the reception area is neat and tidy
  • Monitor students during Work Integrated Learning

Minimum Requirements:

  • Certificate in Dental Assisting
  • Registration with HPCSA as a Dental Assistant
  • Minimum of three years working experience as a Dental Assistant
